RETURN POLICY

At Plus Modern Design, we take pride in the exceptional quality of our furniture and our commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction. We hope that you enjoy your merchandise from the moment it arrives and for years to come.

 

RETURNING MERCHANDISE

Please note that proof of purchase is required for a refund. Upon return, your item will be inspected, and exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise. Return shipping and re-stocking fees may apply. We offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt or proof of purchase is presented within 15 days of order delivery or purchase from a store.


When returning an item, please contact customer service at 816.866.7587, and use the return address label we provide. Pack your return securely and be sure to ship it via insured US Mail or UPS Ground. Retain your shipping receipt for your records.

 

STOCKED FURNITURE

We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment, and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. Should you discover a defect in your furniture, however, please contact us at 816.866.7587 immediately (within 48 hours).  Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be refunded in merchandise or store credit only and subject to restocking fees.


STOCKED NON-FURNITURE ITEMS

We accept returns for Non-Furniture Items within 14 days, with proof of purchase.

 

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom orders are custom-made upon order and are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Customers will have 24 hours from placement of custom orders to cancel. After 24 hours, a 50% deposit will be retained by Plus Modern Design and cannot be refunded.

 

FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS

Clearance and floor model items are considered final sale items and cannot be returned.

 

DELIVERY

STANDARD DELIVERY FOR FURNITURE

Standard delivery offers delivery to your front door (if the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to your apartment door). The typical delivery window is 3–10 business days from the day your order is shipped. Standard Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials. Standard delivery charges are calculated at 5% of furniture order total. Standard delivery charges will cap at $250**

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

White glove includes a delivery appointment, inside delivery, assembly and placement in your room of choice and removal of all packing materials. The delivery window for White Glove service is typically 2–4 weeks from the day your order is shipped. White Glove Delivery does not include wall mounting, electrical or structural changes. White glove delivery charges are calculated at 10% of furniture order total. White glove delivery charges will cap at $500**

**Gus* Modern furniture pieces are excluded. All Gus* Modern items will be charged 5% for standard delivery and 10% for white glove delivery with no cap.
